MEGR 4233 - Aerospace Propulsion Systems This course provides an overview of the propulsion systems used in modern flight vehicles, including planes and rockets. Students will study the principles of gas dynamics, boundary layer theory, and combustion as they relate to aeropropulsion. Various propulsion systems will be covered including turbojet, turbofan, turboprop, ramjet, scramjet, and rockets, including subsonic, transonic, and supersonic applications. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): MEGR 3513 and MEGR 3713 .
