BUSI 3343 - Employment Law

This course is an introductory survey of the evolving law of the workplace. Topics covered include collective bargaining, constitutional protection, discrimination laws, health insurance and compensation, vesting, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act, labor law, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other laws of the workplace. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): MGMT 3203.
