This program is pending approval of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges.

Admission Criteria for the LETU RN to BSN Degree Completion Program

  1. Unencumbered active Registered Nursing License (License is to be verified by LeTourneau)
  2. Cumulative GPA of 2.75
  3. Grade of “C” or better in all science and psychology courses as well as nutrition
  4. Complete university application including all official transcripts
  5. Complete Nursing CAS application
  6. Completed all standardized and individualized courses prior to entering Upper Level BSN Courses – Theology and Vocation courses may be taken during the Upper Level BSN curriculum

After Acceptance

  1. Students must open a CastleBranch account and submit the following documentation:

a. Proof of professional liability insurance
b. Proof of personal health insurance
c. Health/immunization records
d. Proof of American Heart Association CPR training
e. Drug screen

    2. All students must consent to a criminal background check.  A history of criminal conduct or conviction may
        result in withdrawal of the admission offer by LETU.

    3. Students must read, understand, and agree to all policies and procedures as found in the nursing student

Theology and Vocation Courses (9 Hours)

These courses may be taken during the RN to BSN curriculum.

LETU RN to BSN Courses (27 Upper Level Nursing Hours)

All RBSN classes have the prerequisite of admission to the RN to BSN program.  RBSN 3053 must be taken first and RBSN 4833 Nursing Capstone must be taken in the final semester of the program.  Other courses may be taken in any order based on offerings and student preference.

Nursing Skills Validation (35 Hours)

Upon successful completion of an LETU transition course.

Total Hours for BSN: 125 Credit Hours
