Fundamental analysis of compressible flows and its application to flow through ducts and nozzles, normal and oblique shock waves, Prandtl/Meyer expansion, flow with friction and heat transfer, unsteady wave motion, and linearized supersonic thin airfoil theory. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): MEGR 3513 Fluid Mechanics.
