CEGR 2713 - Introduction to GIS

An introduction to the Geographic Information Systems and their usage to analyze spatial data across multiple disciplines. Use of modern software to analyze various types of data including topographic, census, surface water and other spatial data. Emphasis is placed on learning useful skills to create new material culminating with an in-depth research project. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): CEGR 1523.
