CEGR 2013 - Civil Engineering Materials

An introduction to materials used in civil engineering: steel, concrete, wood, asphalt and soils. Characterization of materials by engineering testing standards through experimentation, analysis, and interpretation of results. Principles are introduced in lectures and further developed in laboratory exercises. Class 2. Lab 3. Prerequisite(s): CEGR 1523, PHYS 1113/PHYS 1111 or PHYS 2013/PHYS 2011.
