First and second law of thermodynamics, properties of liquids and gases, the ideal gas, gas-vapor mixtures and psychrometrics, power and refrigeration cycles. Introduction to conduction, convection, and radiation heat transfer. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 1113 and MATH 1604.
