MATH 4513 - Design and Analysis of Experiments This course is an introduction to experimental design and analysis with an emphasis on applications in engineering and physical sciences. Topics include the role of statistics in scientific experimentation, the sequential nature of experiments (screening, characterization, and optimization), general principles of design (randomization, replication, and blocking), and accompanying analysis techniques for comparing means and variances. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): MATH 3403 .
