ENGL 4923 - History Of The English Language

This course will focus on the development of the English language from its earliest origins to the present. Strong emphasis will be placed on the roots of various ethnic forms of the language. A study of ethnic diversity and dialects will also be included. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1023.
