COUN 5343 - Abnormal Human Behavior: Case Conceptualization and Treatment Planning


This course introduces students to case conceptualization and treatment planning. Topics addressed include principles of understanding abnormal human behavior, service coordination, treatment planning strategies, and interventions. Students will learn the biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors of treating mental health disorders. The student will gain an appreciation of the interaction of Christian belief systems with a view of normal and abnormal behavior. Level 1 Course. Students must make a B or better.   Class 3. Prerequisite(s): COUN 5023 COUN 5033 , and COUN 5443 .
