MATH 4902 - Senior Seminar This capstone course for math majors has two primary objectives. First, every student will complete an undergraduate research project under the supervision of a faculty member. Second, students will investigate different perspectives in the philosophy of mathematics leading them to craft a personal statement on the nature, meaning, and purpose of mathematics while interacting with a Christian worldview. Both objectives encourage students to take ownership of their mathematical identities and draw connections between their major courses. Class 2. Prerequisite(s): MATH 3951 and at least one of MATH 3703 or MATH 4103 .
