CRIJ 4643 - Hazard Risk Management This course focuses on how the risk management decision-making process is used in the context of hazards and emergency management. This course equips students to advise decision makers on identifying and assigning priority to risks in their field or community and determining courses of actions for mitigating risks. For actively managed hazards, the risk management process equips students to effectively advocate to decision makers the program, planning and policy initiatives they recommend. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): CRIJ 4603 and CRIJ 4623 .
