BIOL 4413 - Wheels Global Service Learning International Research

A global service learning experience in which students will participate in the Wheels Project’s long-term field studies, which evaluate assistive devices designed for low-income countries. Travel to a developing country and extensive work with medical staff and patients of a host organization are required. Data will be collected, recorded, and then utilized in preliminary data analysis for that year’s cycle of Wheels Project studies. Reflections on the international experience and on developing world clinical experience will be required. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 4403.
