MATH 1223 - Mathematical Reasoning and Exploration

In this course, students will learn to think quantitatively and logically in novel situations, to communicate mathematical thinking, and to appreciate mathematical beauty that points back to God. Topics may come from a variety of contemporary areas in mathematics including logic, number, infinity, geometry, topology, chaos theory, probability, and decision-making. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): MATH 0123 or equivalent.
