CEGR 3913 - Geotechnical Engineering

Introduction to the basic concepts of geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics. Emphasis is placed on practical application of physical and mechanical soil properties. Characterization of soil properties, strengths, and behaviors by engineering testing standards through experimentation, analysis, and interpretation of results. Class 3. Lab on rotation. Prerequisite(s): CEGR 2013 , MEGR 3323 .
