POLS 3313 - Political Philosophy and Civil Discourse This course introduces students to philosophical thinking our communal living the city (polis) with an emphasis on how to dialogue on philosophical ideas in a diverse community. Students may explore the writings of Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Locke, Marx, Confucius, Han Feizi, Nisbet and others. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1013 and ENGL 1023 or membership in the Liberal Arts Guild.
