NURS 3192 - Pathopharmacology II This course is the second unit of Pathopharmacology. The emphasis of this course is to continue the in-depth study of disease processes and pharmacotherapies. The focus of this course is on developing knowledge to provide safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care. Continued study of medication administration and safety will be emphasized with more attention given to complex medication regimens and calculations. Evidenced based practice guidelines, legal/ethical standards, and Christian worldview will serve as the framework for this course. Simulation exercises and case studies will be used to demonstrate accurate dosage calculations and safe medication administration practices and documentation. Class 2. Prerequisite(s): All prerequisites required for admission to the LETU Nursing Program and all Level 1 and Level 2 NURS courses.
