PSYC 2033 - Professions in Psychology This course provides an introduction to the psychology major and career opportunities in psychology, counseling, and the helping professions. Students are provided with opportunities to develop career planning and decision-making skills that will help them achieve success as a psychology major and in a psychology career. Students will pursue experience in a psychological setting under the supervision of a psychologist or social worker. The student will learn by observing and writing about their experiences. Assessment of personal goals, values, interests, and abilities is emphasized. Class 3.
