NURS 3852 - Research & Evidence Based Practice This course provides a foundation for evaluating research and determining its application to practice. Compare qualitative and quantitative research. Describe basic research process as determining validity and reliability of research. Define key research terminology. Identify use of research techniques to monitor nurse sensitive client care indicators and leadership outcomes. Identify and practice critical appraisal skills that assist nurses as competent research consumers. Class 2. Prerequisite(s): All prerequisites required for admission to the LETU Nursing Program and all Level 1 NURS courses.
