ENGL 3103 - Early American Literature

A survey of American literature focusing on the development of a specifically American voice in literature. Covers the early founders to the Romantics. Highlights critical approaches to the literature of the periods with an emphasis on joining the critical conversation in written form. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1023.
