CVGR 3403 - Environmental Engineering Introduction to engineering principles related to the environment, focusing on key issues, their causes and strategies for management and abatement. Topics include air, water and noise pollution; solid waste disposal; bioremediation; and the setting of emission and quality standards. Includes an introduction to green technology, as well as coverage of modern environmental protection legislation and ethical considerations that form the background to engineering activity. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1113 .
