PSYC 5192 - Adult Trauma Intervention Provides an overview of clinical assessment and treatment of adults who have experienced traumatic stress. The process of clinical evaluation of this population will be discussed, with review of most commonly used evaluation tools. Reviews the construct of phase-oriented models of treatment and provides an overview of key goals and the range of practices which may be used to address these goals. Students will examine interventions and treatments in the context of a Christian worldview. Class 2. Prerequisite(s): COUN 5023 , COUN 5043 , and COUN 5663 .
