Master of Arts in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy Specialization (LMFT):Global

Students pursuing the marriage & family therapy specialization will be eligible for licensure as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). Students interested in pursuing dual licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) can use 6 hours of electives to complete those eligibility requirements (PSYC 5203 ; PSYC 5223 ).


Completion of the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) by all Master of Arts in Counseling and Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy students AND exam completion prior to enrolling in PSYC 6012 or PSYC 6013 practicum course. 

Total Credit Hours: 66
