Master of Arts in Counseling, Professional Counselor Specialization (LPC):Global

Students pursuing the professional counseling specialization will be eligible for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Students interested in pursuing dual licensure as a marriage & family therapist (LMFT) can use 8 hours of their total 8 hours of electives to complete those eligibility requirements (PSYC 5083 ; PSYC 5383 ; PSYC 6033 ).

Completion of the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) by all Master of Arts in Counseling and Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy students AND exam completion prior to enrolling in PSYC 6012 or PSYC 6013 practicum course.
