CHEM 1113 - General Chemistry I

Examines all the general areas of modern chemistry. Included are atomic and molecular structure, periodic classification of the elements, acids and bases, solutions, thermodynamics, kinetics, electrochemistry, descriptive inorganic chemistry, nuclear chemistry, and an introduction to organic and biochemistry. Class 3. Prerequisite(s): MATH 0123 or equivalent. Corequisite(s): CHEM 1111.
