The Master of Science in Engineering is a residential program on the Longview campus and consists of 30 credit hours with 24 hours of coursework and 6 hours of thesis. Exact coursework will be determined by the faculty advisor in conjunction with the Graduate Committee.

Engineering courses as determined by Specialization and Faculty Advisor

Optional:

  • Up to 8 credit hours (up to 2 courses) of upper division Math, Science, Computer Science or Engineering (non-dual credit)
  • Up to 8 credit hours (up to 2 courses) of LETU Dual-credit Engineering courses
  • Up to 8 credit hours of Graduate Science course
  • Up to 3 credit hours of Graduate Business electives
  • Up to 6 credit hours of transferred graduate level courses in Science, Computer Science, Math and/or Engineering from other ABET accredited institutions

6 credit hours required
ENGR 6893 - Thesis  (to be taken more than once)
