AVTC 1003 - Foundational Concepts Of Aviation Studies
This course is an overview of the aviation profession and the vehicles used for powered flight. Topics include attributes of an aviation professional, airman qualifications privileges and limitations, career opportunities, ethics, technical publications, weight and balance from the technician’s perspective, aircraft configuration, and operational capabilities. A study of the early history of powered flight is also included. Class 3. Corequisite(s): AVTC 1001.
