AERF 1132 - Primary Flight 1 (Private Pilot Flight 1)
This course is the first half of the private pilot flight training and includes flight training up through the first solo flight. Training includes 28 hours of flight time and is conducted in tailwheel aircraft. . The student MUST have a Pilot Medical Certificate, obtained through an Aviation Medical Examiner, and a Student Pilot Certificate prior to registering for the course. The FAA Private Pilot knowledge exam should be completed prior to beginning this course. Failure to complete the FAA Private Pilot knowledge exam within two weeks of the beginning of the semester could require withdrawal from the course.
